Leaving on a Jetplane

Over the past month, I’ve been lucky enough to have attended four different conferences- the East Coast Student Leadership Conference, held at Dalhousie; the Student Wellness Conference at Acadia; the Canadian Conference on Student Leadership in Kelowna, BC; and Unleash the Noise, a mental health innovation summit held in Toronto. Through attending these events, I have met hundreds of amazing student leaders from all over the Maritimes, and all over Canada. So many people in their late teens and early 20s are doing so many amazing things. It’s made me very aware of why I’m so hesitant to leave university- it’s an amazing environment, and I don’t want to give it up.

I’ll write more about these conferences, some of the people I’ve met, and some of the topics I’ve been discussing when I get back home- and finish the boatload of work I’ve been putting off!
